To the staff at California Weekly Explorer,
I am a parent at Country Springs Elementary
School and I really wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the presentation given
by Kate at our school today.
I know my daughter Katie always looks forward to these presentations. I
was unable to attend the Walk Through California, but I am glad that I came to
today's presentation of Walk Through The American Revolution.
Kate had the kids attention at every second! I can tell she really enjoys what she does and this comes across to the children involved
My kids are very lucky to learn these times from our history in such an exciting way.
Thank You,
Rundi Ten Hoeve
Parent

The walk through history was great. I especially liked when we got to sit on the expert chair and stand on the podium. It felt good to earn points for your team. I also liked dressing up, acting out the battles, the word scrambles. You had great expression and you made it very fun. - Christina Marie, 5th grade teacher, Shadow Hills Elementary

I enjoyed the Walk Through The American Revolution. I liked working together as a team. The Walk Through was more exciting than reading a book. I learned a lot of things about my characters that I never knew before and many facts about the Revolution. Thanks for making history so beneficial. I am looking forward to do the Walk Through The Ancient World next year. I cant wait to dress up again! - Allie, Old Adobe School

I liked the Yankee Doodle sing-off. I liked the colonial puzzle and working on teams. I liked the patriot podium because it made me feel bigger. - Maria, Old Adobe School

I had so much fun learning about the American Revolution. I loved seeing all the costumes. The American Experiment was really cool. I felt like I was back in the 1700s. My friends had lots of fun and I know I did. All the teams were cool, even though our team didnt win, I thought our team had good sportsmanship and we all had fun including me! - Jackie, Old Adobe School

I just wanted to let you know what a fabulous job your company did in performing and preparing my students for Walk Through The American Revolution presentation. Our presenter was wonderful! He was great with the kids and they learned so much. The parents were extremely impressed and so was I! I must say I had no idea how all the information the kids learned would be put together. It was so smooth and creative, and exciting. I felt very proud that my students knew so much and learned so much during this day. Your performance made the 5th grade class at Agua Dulce shine! Thank you again. - Heidi Durrant, 5th grade teacher, Agua Dulce

Thank you for presenting the Walk Through The American Revolution to our fifth grade class. It was all and more that I was hoping for it would be. Walk Through the
American Revolution was one of the finest experiences I have been
involved with in my 37 years of teaching! Any program is only as good as
its presenter, and ours was outstanding! The children were focused while
thoroughly enjoying your presenters guidance. She does an excellent
job and I wanted you to know this. We will look forward to a repeat
performance next year. Thank you! - Penny Norton, 5th grade teacher, Harbor View School |
